The hymn: "We've Come This Far By Faith", is one of the staples of the Black Church.

 

Basically....It's a hymn you MUST know!

 

The 6/8 feel in this hymn is what makes this hymn special. I personally love it because it adds an "Old-school seasoned" flavor to your playing, which is especially useful for more Contemporary Gospel Organists and Keyboardists.

 

I'm going to be breaking down a lot of nuances that are usually overlooked when playing this song, so PAY ATTENTION! :)
